    painting interior trim

i won't say how i did it, cuz there's a million "how to's" out there.

i only did the HVAC trim and the center console, as i ran out of spray paint when i was done.

i think it looks pretty sweet for a first try (yes i know my car has filthy carpets)

I got Tamiya plastics spray paint.. like CDN$10 for a 100ml can (small).

for the silver part, it's Silver Leaf.
For the darker part.. it's 1 layer of Gunmetal, then 1 layer of Silver Leaf, then 3 layers of Gunmetal

i'll be taking more pictures today, cuz it's supposed to be sunny. and we have a car meet this afternoon

I have the same (stock) interior... personally I like the way it looks stock better but you did a really good job with it. Looks like it was meant to be that way.

yeah... it could use a couple of coats of clear acrylic enamel... to make it super durable.. but i don't really car about it now...
i'm going to do the handles, too.. but that's a whole other task in itself.

the LX had all dull-black interior.. just wanted to spice it up a little. matches the outside, now
