How to check the trans fluid level? z5 mtx

What am i missing here?

Oh yeah, im new to the forum, not new to cars. But until i have time to really mess around with this thing, i was wondering if someone can point me to the right direction.

On the front of the transmission there is a bolt (raditor side). You pull the bolt and then put on a latex glove. You stick your finger in the whole and if it comes out with tranny fluid on it then you are all filled up. You should also do this on a leven surface.
