why doesnt my air work anymore.

for some reason, my a/c doesnt work anymore. i thought maybe it was low on r134, so i jumpered the compressior on using a wire to the battery and checked the sight glass, it doesnt have milk going through the glass so i believe it is charged up. also the air blows cold when i manually jumper the compressior on.

using the controls in the car however the compressor does not turn on.
also, the same time my a/c went out, my primary radiator fan went crazy. somtimes it doesnt turn off on its own. maybe there is a relay that controls the fan and the a/c?

well the a/c works again. seems the 12 wore going to the compressor was corroded. i replaced the connector and stripped off a couple inches of wire and now it works fine.

still dont know why my fan occasionally refuses to turn off though....
