              Before, it was body colored:


              The installation was very easy. It's a few nuts holding the thing on from inside the trunk lid, and one of those clips Mazda likes to use to hold the front grille in place.

                    For some reason I think it looks better on your car than on mine. I think it might be a combination of the different badges,muffler and license plate contour.

                        Not from me BUT Im sure if you look on a canadian Protege site you will be able to find one. Or worst case scenario, you buy one from the dealer. THey are about 80$CDN brand new at the dealer.

                            I was thinking about swapping out my trunk garnish too. Only problem is, Im also replacing my front upper grille with the Sport20 grille from Corksport. That means the front chrome bar goes and I get a skinnier black bar. It would be kinda pointless to get rid of the front chrome bar and then add the rear chrome garnish, right?!

                              yeah it would look kind of gay. deends on the colour of the car too. The garnish looks better on a silver car or lighter car. not a black on in my opinion
