not all trim models fit, you have to order them specific to your car. I had to go through that when I was going to buy mine, they sent me the ones for the 1.8 and they didnt fit. So I took them back and had to get the OEM ones because the brembos were on back order

Yeah, Ben, brakes are very picky, because if one part is not right, none other will fit. After working a year in shop, I saw my manager find that out the hard way. Though it was not his fault, because its either the owner of the car does not know what kind of a car they are driving, or the parts supplier has some f*cked up parts that do fit all together.

The 99-00 DX/LX models had the small 9.3" rotors, instead of the 10.2" ones the ES model had. I bought my rotors/SS lines from Darryl's group buy a while back on the "evil forum". I think he can still get you some for a decent price (but not as low as what the group buy was at)

I paid $195 for two front cross-drilled/slotted rotors and Technafit steel-braided brake lines.

or you could go cheaper and better and switch to the ES calipers/rotors...bigger rotors = more stopping power

Is that possible? Would you have to buy a new proportioning valve to make that swap? If so, the only valve you could buy is for the 4-wheel disc ES. So you'd have to make the conversion on the rear to discs from drums, which would necessitate new rear hubs (and therefore alignment).

Tirerack.com has nice looking rotors for our LXs for a bit cheaper than what you guys paid.

the 99-00 ES had 4-lug rotors and rear drums same as the DX/LX..you can make the swap without the proportioning valve....Dave Potter aka biknman did it on his Pro with no probs...its a direct swap!!! thats my next upgrade after i puton my MP3 springs and struts
