RX-8 or G35 coupe?

OK... so my parents decided to go somewhat whole hog on a car... appart from the coolness factor of the rotary would you choose the RX-8 or would you choose the G35 coupe?

NOt only does it look good but it would probubly take the rx8.

G35 coupe hands down. They are gorgeous cars. And I agree with zerocover, black is the way to go. My buddy has a white one with a Veilside kit, and deep dish 19s with a whole lot of other stuff I won't mention.

I'd take the RX-8... I like the way they look better, and even though the G35 has more hp I seriously doubt I would ever fully use even what the RX-8 has.

the G35 Sport Coupe ran a 14.2 @ 99.4
the RX 8 14.5 @ 95.5
so the G35 is faster stock and i would pick it hands down
with a RX 8 looking at my plates

the curb weight of the RX8 is 3,029 lbs and the inifinti is 3,416 that a 387 lbs difference that isnt nothing

this is very very true. the balance of that car is insane. it just wont understeer... ever!!

but if it came down to the pimpin factor, g35 all the way!

I would get the G35 Coupe, but not because it is faster or anything like that. I just love the car so much. I agree with ZoomZoomH, that the RX-8 is probably better if you want that Zoom-Zoom effect, but the Infiniti is so much classier, and ... sexier... That's just me though.

I have a video that proves it's faster than the RX-8 (that Japanese video with a Miata, an Acura RS.. something Type R or whatever... a Subaru WRX or STi or something.. and a Honda S2000). The Honda placed first, the G35 was second, and the two Mazdas were last.

all i know is that the 350z (thich is a g35 with more horsepower) pulles the EXACT same track times as the rx8, factor in that the rx is about 5k cheaper and has alot less horsepower, that means that the rx8 is just a better car.
