    New Muffler

I bought a new muffler yesterday. It's the Arospeed Generation II
4" Straight tip series. It's the round one not the oval. But enyways,
it cost me around $250. Not too bad i dont guess. Im at school
right now, just got off the phone with the muffler shop and they already
installed it. $55 later. I have to pick it up as soon as i get out.
ill post pics when i get a chance. maybe even a sound file....

    peace.

because i got new pipes and stuff thats ran to the muffler.
from what i hear, the catback just has a resonator built in that
could take hp away instead of giving hp. depending on what car
u put it on. thats what this asian guy told me that owns a shop.
he said what im doing is the best way to go. (taking pipe off
running to catalytic and replacing with 2"1/4 then installing
muffler at the end. in doing this i wont have a resonator any
      more)

I hate it when people put mufflers in terms of giving hp, a muffler doesnt "give" you hp it just eliminates some of the restriction of factory systems freeing up the hp being lost. I just woke up and it was bothering me...hehe

= you have more hp then you had when you started which = giving more hp..lol

yes but if you cut the pipe off you get hp too, if anything the muffler is adding another restriction

please make sure you put the pictures and soundclips in the photo/video section...

When you add a straight through muffler or better muffler than stock with thicker pipeing you must gain some type of hp or tq.
It may not be 10 15 or some godly amazing amount, but it will be something, maybe 1, 2, 4 hp.
