some track time finally

I been working on my 93 sohc turbo for months now
finally was time to let her loose to see what she can do with not much tunning
last nite took her to the track and to my surprise the car ran a 15.8 @92 mph
AUTOMATIC tranny with stock injectors, stock air flow meter,stock computer
msd inline fuel pump, vortech fmu 12:1,first gen eclipse bypass, t3 garrett from a 740 volvo@ 12 psi of boost. will keep posting .


ps who told you it can't be done on a sohc automatic?

So what was wrong, did you have a lot of wheel spin?

yes no traction what soever my 60 feet was 2.9

the tranny was fine the car ran exellent.

did u get the turbo for free? how much did it cost u for the turbo set up? You know u can get a dohc motor for $300 and it comes w/ a 5 speed tranny. Swap that in there and u can probably hit the same time w/ ur turbo and only difference is the dohc will be reliable than the sohc turbo w/ 12 psi. Then again its u have ur own thing going on so i give u props for ur custom turbo ! Welcome to the club !
