    need help!! cars broken

hey guys, the old protege is acting up AGAIN! need some suggestions on what you might think it is, ok well the car will start, but when i try and apply gas it will just suck a bit and almost die, making no power at all, it is not driavable at all, it just chokes its self out, now also the battery light is on????? dont know if a bad altanator would cause a car to run this bad, but i have no idea this is the first time this has happened. and suggestions???

Check the charging system...first the battery, then alt...easiest and cheapest to fix first....does sound like possible bad alternator

yeah i wasnt sure, on a side note the car wouldnt start when the maf was connected, but when i dissconected the maf it fired up, dont know if it kinda by-passed the whole thing or what, cause it is a brand new maf. i cant imagine it going bad all of a suddun, being brand new. but i dunno, i hate anything electrical, and nit-picky,

you have a meter to check the charging system? also, if your MAF is brand new... you might find out if they'll warranty it at all. ****ty times bro. sorry to hear its not working.

allright figured it out, just took some snooping, there is an intercooler pipe connection behind my bumper, the only one i didnt flare the ends, and change out to t-clamps, so pipe flew off, now i need to take off my bumper to fix it, not too bad, glad its not something worse. thanks a lot guys for the suggestions.

lol. thats the first place i check. for a burst hose, or a disconnected i/c pipe. you never know when one might pop off. i have samco hoses that are really sticky though, and i didnt bead the i/c outlet or inlet. the hoses swell pretty good, but are strong.
