Ihi Vj20 Vj21

Does anyone know how i can find out what cars these two turbos came on?? I know the MX-6, Probes, & T-birds used IHI's, but I'm not sure if any of them used the VJ20 or VJ21....Can anyone help me with this??

I believe the mercury capri xr2 used the vj-20.

Yes Mark, you are correct, the Capri came with the VJ-20.

Thanks Guys.....So the 88-89 323 GTX's probably used the VJ-20 also then because it is the same motor..

the 88-89 GTX 323 US version , if I am not mistaken came with a VJ11...
and the engine is a 1.6 dohc..

the BP 1.8 323 overseas came with the VJ20 (GTX )

RHF5-

VJ-20 is 90-94 1.8 GTX Japanese
VJ-21 is 90-94 1.8 GTX European
VJ-22 is 90-94 1.8 GTX Australian/European

RHB6-

VJ-23 is 92-94 1.8 GTR (All)

The VJ-23 is a RHF6. The F is for the newer ball bearing series?
If the VJ-20 a RHF5 or RHB5, is it a ball bearing turbo?

Only RHF5 vj-20's I have seen are not BB t's.

Actually the Capri xr2 did not have the vj 20, it has the vj 14. I own one so I know for a fact it doesnt.
