Besides your protege, if you had to pick 1 car under $25,000 what would you pick?

Brand new: 2005 Subaru Legacy...assuming they are under 25K new.

Used: Possibilities are endless. I'd love to pick up an Integra Type R, an FD RX7, any RX7 for that matter.

I would definately take a Mazda 6, with leather interior and manual tranny. Could care less what engine. Or a loaded Mazda 3 sport. Or if gas prices do reach $3 a gallon, I would go with a Prius.

One car under $25K: Easy, but very hard to find: 1975-1981 VW Scirocco. Preferably a 79 (last year for no catalytic converter) with a 5 speed. Even with an engine swap (G60, or maybe even a VR6) it'd be under $10k.
Somewhat easier to find, and I almost bought one instead of the Protege: VW Corrado VR6.

Newer but used jeep grand cherokee (the newest body style) Silver with black leather interior then its straight to the lift shop for a 2 inch body lift with slightly bigger tires.
