    engine swap

Is there anyone that anyone knows of that has successfully swapped in a 2.0L motor into a 1.6l DX. I have had some crazy thoughts about doing it, but I was just wondering if anyone else has done this and could give me some advice.

You could go to the Junkyard and get a full 2.0 engine out of a wrecked protege or msp. You could also grab the wire harness and the ecu and you could also take the tranny and the axles.
You could also grab the radiator and the side mount intercooler(if msp)

    or

you can get a wagner motorsports manifold and bolt it up to a T25 or T28 and run boost and live a happy life.

But what if I got the jspec 2.0L. That thing puts out 170hp. Then it would be worth it, especially if I was to put nitrous on that sucker too.

as to my understanding the jspec one doesnt handle boost very well at all, so you have 170hp with it , and you can buy an intake header and exhaust, just turbo the 1.6l the only 1.6l people that are screwed are people like me with an auto
