Spec Clutches .. anyone ever use them

I noticed that there are Spec clutches that are made for our cars.
They make them for the 1.5 and 1.8L motor.
They also make a lightweight flywheel for the G tranny.

go to that link and enter 1995 mazda protege, then you will see our info come up.

I have been thinking about installing one of these clutches on my protege. I really do want the longer gears for the turbo otherwise I would get the lightweight flywheel and the stage 2 or stage 3 clutch.

Here is another company that we can find clutches from.

Here are some VW guys reviewing the clutch.

Yeah ! that is what I am going to do. I am going to get one for the 323 first, because the clutch in there is old and trying hold more power than it can handle. The clutch in the protege is nary a year old, and I will replace it once the turbo is completed and I have beated the living piss out of it.. lol hahaha.

damn those bully clutches are expensive, over 400 bucks.

isn't it funny how me and you are like the only ones on here into this sort of thing.

bruce, I asked the same queston, but only had ben's input to rely on, so I disregarded it. I ended up buying a stage 2 kevlar disc for my car, I wanna start my motor install tomorrow, so I can let know know how good it feels when the swap's done!
