Hi I have a Mazda MX-3 and I am wanting to do a bpt swap in it. I am needing to know what Mazdas came with it and anyone knows if it will hookup to my trans, thanks.

Welcome to the Board! If you are using the BPT in your mx-3 you are going to need either a protege LX tranny, or and escort GT tranny. I am not sure if the one from the MX-3 will bolt up, but if it will, then you only need to find the engine. There will be alot of other small things that will need to be gotten. u can use your tranny but dont because you'll slip, and you'll waste your time and money, the escort gt or protege lx tranny is what you need. YOU WILL NEED ALL THE TRANNY BRACKETS WITH THE TRANNY, they are a bitch to find because everyone cuts them off, but get the one for the battery tray and get the jackshaft also. []Deace
