Axela, RX8 Crash Tested by NASVA Japan

The Axela and RX8 were both crash tested by NASVA, similar to NHTSA here in the US.

The lack of B-pillar in the RX8 is no longer a thing to worry about. The crash test ratings were excellent. I'm impressed.

I thought the B-pillar was built into the suicide door, and it locked together when the door was shut.

Also, that high center tunnel helps out a LOT, I'd imagine.

At any rate, it's gotta be safer than the RX-7.

According to my Anger Management Counselor, after 26 weeks of anger management class, I should be an expert when it comes to Anger Management...tell that to the guy who threw a starburst at my car in rush hour traffic...haha

They have some sort of steel-re-enforced pin things that lock in place to form a virtual b pillar.

Yea. Built in to the "Freestyle"(A.K.A. suicide) doors.
