    Horsepower

Could Anyone Tell Me how much Horse the 95 Protege DX comes stock with?

and maybe a guess-timate of how much the customized stock intake would add?

I'm just trying to get a rough estimate...

    Thanks

Even if you get a cold-air intake, you will be lucky to get 2-3 hp. Customizing stock will not do much. If you are serious about wanting more power, engine swap is the way. Otherwise, get some exhaust and an intake, and you just might get 10hp.

Well, having only 92 hp has it's advantages. You get in another car and you think it's a rocket.

yeah 70 something hp to the wheels is pretty lame, id buy a first gen with a bp, good bang for the buck.

                      Is this a 10 hp gain with a decent universal muffler & a CAI or a cat-back exhaust & a CAI?

92HP AND 98 lbs of tourqe.

Intake and exhaust will help, but overall the engine is tuned to give you enough power to act stupid at times yet be economical. (which it is great at) .

You could always strap on a t25 and have the equivalent power that Ben in his 1.6 turbo has. I would be a nice power adder.

If you live in a state that does emisions and saftey, you can forget about a GTR swap.

I love florida! Half the cars on the road wouldn't pass emissions If you dropped a grand into them!
