I know that Darryl had a Weapon-R tank. Check out his website. He might still have some pics of it.

i have. and i am going to try this without the help of weapon R. i think gatorade might be my brand of choice... (cheap as she goes mod) at the very least a test to see WTF happens, you know hot coolant.. cheap plastic.... (possibly a bad idea)

ummm, well, you're current coolant overflow tank will actually sustain boiling water, fresh off the stove, so poor some boiling water into a funnel into a gatorade bottle and see if it holds . if that doesn't work, try your mom's old coffee pot
        peace
p.s. despite the fact your an engineer, don't forget water boils at 212, your car rarely heats over 190

you can squeeze it in on the other side by the radiators, just have to move a few things and drill so new holes

actuall i found an old Nalgene bottle. it hold water that is well above boiling. (safety factor mind you.) and yes a gatorade bottle will hold boiling water

Nalgene bottles kick ass! If its the hard plastic kind that should hold up just fine! (Are/were you a Boy Scout, or just the outdoorsie type?)
