    ECT Button?

    Ok, so a friend of mine has an "ECT" button on her 94 Lexus ES300, she says when it's on it makes the car accelerate faster, my question is: what the hell is it, and what does it do? Thx

    Best guess: Electronically Controlled Transmission. Raises shift points, firmer shifts, like a "sport" mode.
