    Performance upgrades?

    Ok so I am a newb to your forum, I just got married and my wife has a 1996 Mazda protege LX with the 1.5L I am curiouse as to what type of upgrades are available, cheap things first . any help is greatly apprecated

      Even if you were to use the search steve you would find that in allllll your reading the 1.5L has very few items for modding. Most are custom. Skip simple things..lol go straight to the 1.8 BPT swap.
