Where can I go to get front strut bar?

Where can I go to get a front strut bar that exactly fits my car?

    I have a mazda protege 1998 DX 1.5L

I ordered one on ebay and it didn't fit. Had 4 holes instead of 3. Two hole furtherest from the front of the car fit but the third thread didn't line up with either of the last two hole.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Is it Mazdaspeed? If so that's awesome, if not, that's still great. If you don't mind my asking, how much did you pay for it?

You obviously got a wrong one. There are some first gens that were sold in 95, and you probably picked that one, as first gens use 4 holes. Just search for 96-97 model years, and you cannot go wrong. I bought mine on ebay long time ago, for cheap. No, its not Mazdaspeed, but it works almost the same. If you have cruise control, you have to make sure to get the right one. Otherwise, you will need to do some grinding to fit it in. Goodluck.

I went to Procarparts.com and their strut bar for 98 pro is out of stock. ~$26

Since I got the strut bar on ebay for $8 w/o shipping I'll just drill a hole into each side and see how it works tommorow. The dealer is G4 parts or something like that on ebay.

Yeah when I was on ebay I searched protege 98 and looked at the strut bar options. They all show four holes.

I'll let you guys know how the drilling goes and the fit.

www.awrracing.com has them also, although not for $26 more like $139. they also produce the thicker rear sway bar and a rear strut tower bar.

The same as mine . It's 4 hole and it's basicly MX3 one . Just drill a hole and then grind the corner to fit if you have cruise control.

Are you sure you don't have the sides switched?

Why not use a drill and make a hole?
