exhaust? is there a too big

i have been reading up about exhaust for the a turbo car, most sources state that for turbo the bigger the exhaust the better. Is there no limit to this logic?
But now to my questiion: I have 2.5 inch piping until the downpipe, which there after is ALL stock, should i continue with 2.5 or should i go up to 3 in?

how much horsepower are you running... IIRC 2.5 is good up to 200-250ish (someone correct me if I am wrong) horses. Upgradeing before you hit that isnt good for much at all.

yeah.. up to 250hp 2.5 piping is the way to go..
There was a thread not long ago about the exhaust diameters on turbo cars.. look for it.

From what I'm told by the guys overseas, a GTX should have a 2.5 inch exhaust and a GTR aka T3 or larger should run a 3 inch exhaust.

I'll be running a 3" exhaust from the downpipe to the Apexi N1 muffler.
