After hours of taking parts out of my car to get to the stupid fuel filter, I've finally replaced it all by myself.
I had to take out the battery and the air intake system just to get my hands back there. My muscles are really sore from reaching and bending in ways I'm not supposed to in order to tighten and lossen bolts. I feel like I just been beat up.
Here's some pics of my engine while I was at work. And YES my car still works. It actually seems like my fuel economy has improved. I drove from NE Jersey to Wash DC and still have a little more than a quarter of gas left.
For those who don't know where the fuel filter is located, I highlighted the area yellow in one of the pictures. Its actually a little lower than highlighted in pic. ( I had fuel pump instead of fuel filter before. My apoligies. )
