ALL MAZDA TRACk DAY @ MAZDA RACEWAY LAGUNA SECA - AUG. 28, 2004

    THE ALL MAZDA TRACK DAY

    Guys:
I want to announce that I’ve put together an all Mazda Track Day at Laguna Seca
on Saturday, August 28, 2004. The ALL MAZDA TRACK DAY is open to all Mazda
street vehicles and production racecars that meet the sound limits and safety
    standards.

My main focus for this new event was to hold the price line down as much as
possible, since Laguna Seca track days are very expensive now (+$225. a day
avg.). To that end, and with the help of a few key sponsors, we've been able to
establish a reasonable price of $165, for the event. This will also include
    lunch and an event T-Shirt.

The day is being limited to 60 participants’ total, divided into only
3 RUN GROUPS, so everyone will get MAX track time. No sitting around for
    hours waiting to run again.

I'd like to give a BIG thank you to
    CORKSPORT
(http://www.corksport.com) for stepping up and helping out the Mazda
Community by title-sponsoring this event at the last minute. Their participation
has really helped us keep the cost down for all event participants. Also Mr.
Aaron Tachibana, who some of you know is a FD and a Miata owner, through his
    MIATA PERFORMANCE
CLUB OF AMERICA is sanctioning the on track activities.

For full details, and to register and pay, please visit:

NOTE: This deal is already close to 50% sold out on word of mouth alone, so if
you’re interested please sign up ASAP to get in on the fun!

Btw, since getting a weekend date at MRLS is almost impossible now, I've been
begging Mazda to open a day for Mazda enthusiast again, and they finally agreed.
So here we are... let's take full advantage of this deal and have a blast!!

Thank you all and see you at the track!!

    -Berny (BERN) H.

      yer killing me!!!!!!

if the earth was square, it might happen...but time off work and the trip up there probably isn't in the cards for me. Man, i'd love to leave some of my rubber on that track....damn damn damn.

But hey dude, good job setting this up. 60 is a bit much for a track day (depending on how many are truly beginners) it could get squirly...but i'm sure ya'll have a format that will keep it fun.

That's a very good deal. When going with NASA it's usually about $225 for just one day.

actually 60 cars is VERY SMALL for a track day at least in my experience. the 2 track days i did at VIR, plus another one at Buttonwillow, both had at least 80+ cars signed up.

and yes, navigating amongst true n00bs on the track could get kinda hairy, but that's something I could deal with if I get to DRIVE ON LAGUNA SECA!!!!!!

DOHHH!!! If LS wasn't on the 'wrong' coast, I'd be there. I wish there was an all Mazda track day at Road Atlanta, Roebling, or Sebring, especially at that price. I'd be there in a moment's notice.
