    the MSP must die!!!

I may be time to say goodbye to my MSP. The dealer will not warrenty my car because the grounding kit is ' The reason why ' my power surges. Now who the **** is this asshole and why is in service? My only solution is to go to a different dealer any buy a RX-8, so we might have one in the club sooner than we thought.

I'm happy because Dima speeds, which makes him happy. He seems to be happy only when speeding, which makes me happy. And when I'm happy people around me are able to live another day. If you are alive right now, you should thank Dima.

why don't you take off the grounding kit before going to the dealer?

The reason why I didn't take off the grounding kit is because the service tech. had seen it when I brought it in for an oil change. He even said that it was a great idea because reg. pro's and P5s had surging problems and that he suggested to other people to buy them.

Anyways, I figured I'd pop the hood and see why my car sucked so bad. Thats when I discovered a poorly connected grounding kit. I undid everything and put it back together. Using the strength of a pissed off Cuban, I made sure everything was tight like a frog's ass. I must say, its good to have my baby back and behaving normally.

So it was the fault of the grounding kit?

whew, that was close. don't scare my like that tony. hope you are still keeping it.

              1. you SHOULD have taken off the grounding kit before going to the dealer
              2. if a tech said that it is a good idea and recommends it, the dealer has to waranty the car since the tech is a "representative of the dealer". it is similar if you go to the store and you ask for a price on an item and an employee tells you $5 but at the cash register they tell you $10, they have to sell it for $5 since that's what an employee who represents the store/company told you... hope you guys get it.
              3. remember we are always here for you. eric, me and rich as well as others messed with electronics before and we might have been able to help you.

actually it most likely would only still be under waranty if a Mazda tech puts it in. If I were to buy an aftermarket intake and have a Mazda certified tech install the thing they would still cover my engine under waranty, but since i didnt feel like paying to have somethin done that i can damn well do myself, i would just put in my OEM intake before taking it to a dealer for repair.

I'm going to drive it tonight and see how it goes, with the headlights dimming and such. If the problem is still there then she must go. I only drove it around the block last evening and it was still light out so I couldn't really tell about the headlight surge, but I noticed that the engine ran smoother over bump. I can get into a RX-8 for about $80.00 more a month with the same bank.

BTW, the Mazda dealer I bought my MSP at offered $17.5K for it with 10K miles on it,knowing that there might be an electrical problem because some kid said if they could find him a used BLACK MICA MSP with low miles he would pay $25K.

I'M TRYING TO FIND THIS MORON TO SELL HIM MY CAR FOR 25 GRAND
