A part that needs to go back in. I will know it when I see the underside.

The bar I have no idea (the mechanic left it in bits after replacing the clutch). The other bit looks like it comes off the intake somewhere but I cannot see the appropriate bolt holes.

the other bit is indeed bolted to the intake manifold with the side that has 1 hole
the other side goes onto the block, next to the oil filter on pics 4-5
the bar, not sure as it's not there on mine ...

Update: Posted this on another forum as well. Removed/updated any pictures that found a home for...

Happy enough with the underside. Been putting the head, plumbing and electrics back together.

Good news that the head, intake/exhaust (matched, port and polished) manifold is in. New water pump and timing kit.

Still figuring out bits and pieces. This is what I have left on the table. Anyone know where these go?
                    Updated:

A few floaters in the engine bay as well. I would really appreciate any help (pictures say a thousand words). Notes at the bottom of each picture.

Had a few modifications to the car so unsure if these were left overs from the BOV and boost guage but did not make any sense.
The first one is what appears to be the charcoal canister but in the diagrams that I have (below)

it appears to not have anything connected. Anyone able to confirm?
Right below the charcoal canister there are two tubes that come out of the wall (one short and one longer). No idea what these are for or what they do.

If I read the diagram correctly this one is the solenoid valve (purge control) output which should go to a check valve and into the intake manifold. I thought this may be correct but there tubing which came from the wall which had the correct length and there were no other spare bits of plumbing in the boxes I obtained.

If I have read this correctly then the one on the top goes to the BOV.

The one on the bottom and other picture which goes from the wall to the intake (comes out with the accelerator cable. I would have thought this goes to the solenoid valve but I really don't know.

Please be kind. I am not a mechanic and I am trying to put her back together after some "mechanics" have done the wrong thing by me and left her in bits. The other mechanics that I asked to help were very blunt in saying "I make more money from doing a basic service".

The top item is to keep your O2 sensor wire from touching the manifold
Next items look to be the washers for the intake manifold... or is it injectors? One of the two
Next items go inside the top of the outter edges of the head where the valve cover studs screw in. I "lost" one of mine only to find it stuck in the valve cover after I got a new one from PaP.

Not quite sure what you mean.
                            Do you have any pictures?

First two done. Needed to order a 3rd plastic washer that goes between the injector rail and head.

Took the cover off and tried to put them where you say. They don't seem fit properly or serve a purpose at all. Any pictures of them installed?

The plastic pieces are shims that goes between the the fuel fail and the fuel rail bolt. They will sit perfectly on the bolt holes.

The round pieces of metal goes in your timing belt cover. It's some kind of stopper to prevent a broken hole by over tighting the bolts.
