    My Lca Just Fell Off

the bolt that holds the lower controll arm to the spindle
well its not holding it there anymore
It had been making scraping noises on hard left handers, which was the lca bolt digging into my wheel
im pretty sure its the problem ive been having forever

    my question is

    hoq much to replace it
i cant find the part on anywebsites(advanced, autozone) so i figure ill have to buy it used
    how much should it be
how intense is replacing it, is it just the bolt that has to be replaced? i assumed the entire arm

what is bolted to it, ball joint? how and what is involved in removing it

and help or advise would be greatly appreciated

I doubt the lca needs to be replaced. The balljoint probably just broke... thats likely all you'll need to fix the problem. Maybe a new spindle as damage may have been done to it. If its just the balljoint its an easy fix.

      right
except my cv joint apparently suffered "catostrophic damage"
soooo with replacing the passanger side cv 2ce in the past 3 months
      its another 300 alltoghether
with new spindle and ball joint and axle

or maybe they damaged teh axle in dissaembly
either way I dont really care
as long as my car works again
also my old swaybar bolts are rusted and stuck

i want them off so i can replace the bushings, and one side isnt even currently connected
but i cant really cut them without damaging the cv boot
and i cant unbolt them cause there rusted and rounded off
but i want a front sway bar
      so what do i do?

sell old car and buy another?.?.?

use that to locate parts from j/y. LCA should be there and it wont be at dealer raping prices.
The T3 BP MX-3 conversion has begun, and is taking forever & will kill me.

cut any part of the endlink between the nut and the bolt head and it will fall apart. should be room to get in there with a saw.

polyurathene endlink bushings and a sway bar thats finally properly connected
and those new ball joints and the great alligment i just got

im really happy with my car
both of my ball joints had a tremendous bit of play
the car feels alot more responsive, the only hint of sluggishness is the inch in either direction of steering wheel / tie rod end play
