    Seat rails disassembly?

    Trying to change the seats.
Need to keep the protege part of the rail (the one you bolt to the car), and change the sliding part to the one from the newer seat - should fit.
    Is it possible?
Spent last 30 minutes trying to figure out, what's stopping the inside sliding part from sliding out of the rail completely... ;(

    Thanx

Just unbolt the rails from the seats and transfer them to the new seats. There are 4 bolts per seat.

They don't fit, that's the problem... Seats & old rails. And rails from new seats don't fit in the car the easiest way, if it's possible, would be to do what I wrote before, but have no idea how to do that. theoretically there should be a way, but I don't wanna break anything

it's still possible to put new seats onto the old rails, but it requires more work then disassembly of the rails

if i don't find a way to get the rails fixed in my way - will try to fit seats onto older rails
