i don't any turbo kits for the that motor at all. the reason why i wouldn't swap that motor in is the lak of aftermarket support or i would in a heartbeat

but i guess it's not different from the 1.6L heh

do it like the rest of us. do it custom and post what kind of result you got out of it.

HiBoost kit!! (its the only one made)

The 1.5 and 1.6 are basicly the same engine but the 1.6 is the stroked version. Everything else is interchangable. Speaking of which send some of thouse vvt heads over this way.

Alternetvly wagner makes an exhaust manifold that should work. I would use that and a fuel pressure regulator, that is unless someone knows how to make the haltech control vvt.

Nice! Post up some engine pics. That's the first Protege I've seen with a 7500rpm redline. *drool*

How about a picture of your cold air intake. Does it work any good? I saw an artical on autospeed where the guy used a 5" pvc pipe to make one it was massive, but made good power.

If you do go highboost be sure to find away to control the vvt or youll loose your really high redline. If the haltech cant handel it youll need to come up with a standalone solution. If you go to the miata boards they can help you out with that. its a pretty strait foward design as rpm increase the soloniod pressure should also increase.

I need to take some pic, because i have since change the wheels and painted the head lights black,i would show the intake soon,it does make good power, but better is the sound when the vvt kicks in at around 2500-3500 rpm,i have to sa thanks for the advice thanks again. please see this site-motorsportsgrenada.com thats where we have fun on weekends, its an old airport.

Very nice whats the deal with the stock snorkel? Looks? I noticed you too have the dreaded gray interior I feel your pain man, at least its still better then the beige.
Is the front lip stock or if not who makes it?

You can order some black clear corners from pcp it would look really good with the painted headlights.
