Inside of car smells like gas

Hey, the cabin of my car smells like gas, and It's been so for the past 5-6 days. Any clue? I didn't like spill any inside. I've had ventiliation since then, I've had windows open, heat on, etc. and the smell is still there.

might wanna look under your rear seat for any leaks around your fuel pump.... the seat is easy to remove; just pop loose the fasteners along the underneath of the front edge of the seat and it should come right out.

STOP EATING CHILLI CHEESE FRIES AND BEAN BURRITOS

might be a missing firewall grommet and it's entering the cabin that way.

if it don't smell under the seat, smell under the passenger & drivers footwell area. If it smells then you might have a leak under teh hood. Pop it up and check for leaks around the fuel filter hose & lines.

I had this problem on my festiva. Turned out I overfilled the tank filler neck & it was smelling up the interior b/c the gasket around the filler neck was leakyish.

i had to slam on my brakes and spilt gas in my trunk and it soaked through my backseat...it stunk. I got a whole new backseat for $20 they came out cleaner than what was there (before the spill). I had to replace the seatbelts too. Febreeeeeze. It was fun. With all the static my car creates, I'm suprised I didn't die. It was fun.

don't know if you have discovered the source of your problem, but if not I got something close to your problem. Just try next time you put gas in your car not to full it. It may be like mine that as a hole right at the beginning of where you put gas. To check just take out the wheel and the little plastic cover then you'll see if there is a hole there. Hope it will help you !
