Just want to make sure everyone knows, the Energy Suspension front LCA kit (4-3152) will NOT fit the mx3. Just burned out my bushings to find that the ES bushings are too small in diameter for my control arms.

You will have to get Pre-94 LCA mounts for them to fit. After 94 they made the bushings larger for whatever reason.

Exactly, my 91 had the smaller diameter mounts, I believe the 3rd gen Escorts would too since the kit is for the ZX2...but that's just a shot in the dark lol.

          My mx3 is a 92.

After I posted that I ran to the junkyard and grabbed the rear brackets for the front LCA's from a ZX2. They worked with the bushings perfectly.

I don't think that includes the MX-3 to be honest, I think they all have the larger bushing...input anyone?

Glad you got it all figured out though!!

                    Hi guys
I know that the thread is a bit old and I am in the process of changing all the underbody bushes, so does anyone know if there are polyurethane bushes for the rear diff mounts like superpro or another brand?
                    Attached I have the pictures.
                    Thanks

your best bet would be taking measurements of the bushings. i don't know of any direct replacements. altho it would sure be handy. there is likely an easy aftermarket solution

Yes since I am doing the overhaul I may do these bushings as well
From the pic all 3 look the same?

I will get my mechanic to measure them as well
                            Thanks

when i was driving my BG Astina, i'm struggling to keep it on a straight line
it also tends to go a bit more to the left and when i'm cornering it does not go to where i direct the steering
does it have to do with the bushings? the tyres are really new, so that might be not the cause.
what kind of bushings should i buy?

Is this place still alive? Will anyone see this post? I’ll try anyway.

Are there any bushings still available that will fit the 1990 4WD sold in the USA? Specifically, I’m looking for front and rear LCA, steering rack, and rear diff bushings.
