thanks ryan, thats what i thought.

i think i'm going to order fidanza cam gears, even though i dont need them yet. they are purty :D. my stock cam gears got overcoated (powdercoat is too thick) so they dont fit on the end of the cams. pissin me off.

Quick question... Do I NEED 2 adjustable cam gears when doing the Ex-intake cam swap, or can I get away with just the 1 on the new intake cam?

you only need one, but for ultimate tuneability having two would be nice

Thanks... my annorexic wallet dictates that I only buy 1 at a time though, so cam gear #2 will just have to wait.

So bpt323... you say the Fly'n Miata gears are the same as the Fidenza's? Do you know if they would be cheaper then? I think Fly'n Miata gears are $138 a piece...

Also you say the B6T/BP/BPT exh cam gears are all the same... Are the cams also the same, or could there be benifit in swappin a B6T exh cam into a BP?

im running the Jun Cam gears. from what i understand is there not currently in production, but they did a bunch of proto types. i dont know how true that is but, thats what i was told by the person i got them from. they are kinda heavy too. looks like they just cut the center out of the stock gears and machined a adjustable hub for the center. they are nice though and get the job done. what is also wierd is they dont say Jun on them at all. strange. i actuall run my gears 1.5 deg advanced, but its so i can get the proper alignment on the miata cam gears. any more than 1.5 deg and it starts to ping.

                        Just found these on iMazda.

                          No they aren't :p

My Miata gears have two slots for the little nub on the end of the cam, my EGT and GTX gears have three.
