    The one part that is going to be the biggest PITA is going to be wiring.....
    Apparently the v6 has a crap load more sensors that the bpt doesnt... I did buy an engine wiring harness, ecu, knock controller, knock sensor, gtx vaf, and all the needed stuff to make it virtually a plug and play install.

    Vaughn used to have a page that entailed all of what was needed to go from I4 to v6, but that page has been down for quite some time

    thx for all the well wishing... I know I am gonna need it.

          Don't worry, mine shipping charge from California to Alaska was 700 n change...almost the cost of the motor...

                    Mine was just out of luck - a guy bought the engine off JDMSource and lost interest in the project without installing the motor - so he was very nice and sold it to me.

                    JDMSoruce can sell you the motor for about 1k US ... and that is one of the best deals I can think of.

                      It wasnt too bad, that rubbermaid container with alot of my swap parts came on the pallette (sp?) with the motor.... its what pushed the weight up to 350lbs.

                        I have an engine stand, but I cant find the bolts that bolt the tranny to the block.... anyone know where I might get some of these? I really dont want to go to the stealership to buy the bolts, but I want to get this motor on the stand so I can start pulling off the manifolds and working on it.

                        I guess I am off to the j/y when I can to see if I can score a set.

                          I got some of those at the junkyad last time for spares. And I have an original set which I bought at $4/bolt.

                            the oem bolts wernt long enought for me...i had to go buy new ones and only piston service had them....$5 a bolt and i needed 4....
