er, i screwed up, what i meant to ask, is if the exhuast wheel on the VJ11 is larger then the VJ20, thus the larger A/R? 20R means its bigger right?> IE flows more air through it? If so that would be perfect for a VF12 hybrid if you could change the flange about.

The 20R has nothing to do with the exahaust wheel although it is related. THe 20R is the size of the Exhaust Housing.

20R is bigger than 15R and flows more air (less heat) but is lil laggier.

Yeah the 20R housing would be better. The VF12 comes with a 20R housing but its Subi Flange (thats what i used).

Here is my old VF12 setup

so how much laggier is the 20R then the 15R Does the 15R become too large of a restriction. would the 15R create a much faster spool up then the 20R but choke it off in the top end or what?

Ok ok...i got a question that should be fairly simple to those who know, my eyes hurt from trying to search!
anyways..I have the bp turbo manifold like the one from corksport, now i know the vj20 bolts up but im not to sure if the vj11 that i have does, It came off a probe gt its an rhb5. Also what other things may need to be altered when mounting.
                I have a bone stock 91 egt.

                thanks

gotta slot the holes on the turbo as the bolt pattern of the manifold is larger

I swapped a vj20 into a vj11 exhaust housing cause I upgraded to a vf10/vj20 on my daily car. Everything swapped like it should and I even spun up the turbo on a bench with the air compresser and the vj20 wheel spins perfectly. I also bored the wastegate port to prevent any lag.

porting it can actually increase lag, however it reduces dangerous boost spike... it all depends how you do it. porting the stock hole has virtually no negative effects tho

I might have the VF10 rebuilt and high flowed from turbo city. Do you think they can make it a BB turbo? or should I just get a bigger turbo?
I dont want to have to loose my corksport down pipe due to bigger turbo.
I also want a freshly rebuilt turbo.

the three times i've shipped turbos out they've gone to turbo city.
twice for rebuilds & one time to find out my VJ20 was ****ed.

$200 labor & i paid $60 for a rebuild kit from them. cleaning & paint is like $35
