Hey ryan can you post up that link for the injector site for the flow rates?
I think that info is needed here!

Alright, well I just bought an 88 mazda 323 gtx. Only "mod" done to it is a cold air intake, but the ECU has been reprogrammed for 16psi of boost and 8k redline (although I will never take it to 8k, highest maybe 7k). It does have the stock VJ-14 on it and I know that 16psi is pretty much its limits but I was wondering if you knew anything about the VJ-14 upgrade from corksport? The VJ-14 spools VERY quickly and will hold 16 easily all the way to redline, but I was wondering how big of a difference the VJ-14 upgrade from corksport made? It says it has a dual ball bearing center section with T25 cartridge, and T-3 style compressor wheel and I will have to use the stock exhaust housing on the current turbo. Just curious if you knew any gains from this turbo? Spool faster? Can handle more boost? etc etc.

I am also currently running the stock downpipe which is pretty small for 16psi, you can feel it sometimes. So I'm thinking the VJ-14 upgrade will be very worth it with just a bigger downpipe and the bigger core intercooler upgrade from corksport...

One thing is not covered in that how to section is modding the coolant lines. I think I ended up using one stock bpt hardline and one suby line. I need better fittings cause I get small leaks after a long hard drive.

Here are 2 links I found not a long time ago.
It's a guide to draw a compressor map from the maps that IHI has in the site.
The other one is how to read it.
The compressor map is for a vj-23

Just weighed my GTR rods and they came in at 592grams +/- 1 gram. I know someone wanted this information on here.

I should mention that number was with stock bolts and nuts attached. The NA BP ones are 562grams each with bolts and nuts attached. B6t rods are 580 grams.

Here are also some more weights of aftermarket rods:

                          Crower rods 543grams
                          Pauter rods 493 grams
                          Carillo rods 442 grams

Don't know which model these are and they are pulled from a site (http://www.quithel.co.uk/). I am guessing the Carillos are the A beams

The site mentioned has some great info.
