    proportioning valve ratio???

    Does anyone know the proportioning valve ratio front to rear.
    on a LX ????

    Also are the lx and dx or whatever base modle cars
    proportioning valves the same?

    Don't know the figures you need but LX and DX are different because of the difference in brake components such as rear discs on LX and rear drums on DX, etc.

        i dont think the ratio has ever been listed anywhere, you would probably have to test it yourself to find out.

            There are brake line pressure guages available. You could install one in the front and one in the back, stab the brakes and record both from the same pedal pressing. Then you could work out the ratio, front to back. Sounds like a lot of effort though.

              yeah you might as well just re-do your lines and install an adjustable proportioning valve and tune it how you want.
