differences between early and late BG protege front ends?

Since rolling my 90 AWD I've decided to repaint the entire car and not just the roof and fender. I'm thinking now would be a good time to update the body work. Just wondering what all the differences are.

    Thanks

90-93 has the straight front hood/headlights, 94s have the 323 style slant headlights.

besides the hoods, i think all the sheet metal and bumpers are the same.

hmm, so the fenders and corner lights remain the same? is there a difference in the grill?

Yes, the grill is different for a 94. To convert to a 94 front end you will need a hood, grill, and slanted headlights. everything else is the same.

Thanks guys, but it looks like more trouble than it's worth. I can't find any of this aftermarket.

headlights and grille interchane with the 90-94 323 if that helps. eric has glass EDM headlights and corners for sale... meaning you'd just need a 94 protege hood

.... you have multiple 78 corolla wagons?! Want a rust free awd protege with a new paint job for one? :-D Check out my website. And if you have a picture of one doing a burnout, I'd love to put it on the homepage.

hmm, 323 lights are easy... Who has a hood? will the 323 one work with some massaging?

the 323 one wont line up right up near the windshield, it has a small ridge kinda thing across the top... plus the hinges arent the right height so it sits up to high. you could make it work temporarily though.

i might just put the new roof and fender on and just find some spray paint that comes close and put the rest of the money towards a GTR swap... I mean who cares what the car looks like if it's fast, right?
