I don't have that number for you... but there is a kit out there for rebuilding the whole tranny with bearings, syncro's, etc.

I maybe be able to get that for you if you need it... the number that is.

Here is a jpeg of the 4wd stuff. They use pretty much the same bearings and seals minus the diff and tranfer box...

one question i noted tho, the outer gear shafts bearing replacement number shows it has bigger rollers for the bearing. could that be worse for force distribution??? less surface area?

First off the input shaft seal is the same, you will find that number used in a lot of mazda transmissions...

Second the outer gear bearings were updated by mazda to the bigger rollers, its actually stronger in theory. Im not 100% sure if its more efective in the field. Ill let ya know if my trans blows up again...

Here are some photographs to go along with the superceeded end case bearings... this will show the difference in old VS new.... LEft is factory, right is the revised bigger rollers bearing.

Just thought I would throw this info in here, as it seems like the most appropriate place to do so. Part number "BK210AWS" is a rebuild kit for the G-series tranny, including the kia case. It comes with the bearings(4 shaft bearings and 2 diff bearings), syncros(all 6), and the 4 main seals(2 axle, 1 input shaft and the shift rod seal).

Oh sorry, I just saw your post now. No, it is not a mazda part number. It seems to be the universal part number for the g-series rebuild kit. I have no clue what copmany makes it, but it uses all Nachi/Koyo japanese bearings.

I would be interested in said rebuild kit if you can find a link somewhere. It would be nice to install a fresh transmission along with a fresh engine.

kind of awhile ago, but that part number in google brings up a bunch of places. One of them being Advance Auto, for about 235 bucks.
