    High Beams

Okay, I'm freaking out. Without my highbeams, my car won't pass inspection. I need help. When I turn on my headlights, the regular lights come on. If I pull it back, my full beams come up. But when I push the lever forward, my lights go completely out. This is new to me and I don't know where (and if there is) the highbeam fuse is. Are there seperate bulbs for the highbeams or is it just some wiring short or fuse?

If you need more info, PM me.

Same problem here, probably your column switch or a bad relay

High beams come on in the "flash to pass" mode, right..? Then it's not the relay. I've had this problem and fixed it, it's in the column switch. The contacts have too much carbon build-up from years of use. Either replace the whole assembly, or take it apart, find the offending contact and clean it with fine sandpaper, nothing rougher than 220, 400 or higher would be better. I've had this happen on two Mazdas now, not a big deal to fix it.
