Okay, I've looked and looked for this info, I ordered a manual for my B6D, but haven't received it and I believe I need to turn the idle up or advance the timing slightly on the disti, but I was going to turn the idle up as a start. Maybe you can tell me what would be better, my car idles really well at around 800rpm's, but it'll drop closer to 500 if I sit for a little bit and the idle becomes rough and a little hard to get it moving if I don't rev it. I use 89 octane as I found the car runs smoother and does idle better on it so I'm wondering if I need to just advance the timing, which I can do.
Thanks for your help,
