Today I went to check out the green 93 MX-3 recent arrival in the Rosemount JY www.upullrparts.com hoping for a GS but it was a RS. Still I got the center arm rest/ storage/ cup holder thing plus the little storage box thing under the radio that my MX was missing. Otherwise the care was pretty complete 111K bad front damage though. But I would guess the sohc engine and auto tranny would be OK. Interior was kind of dirty and carpet wet from recent rain but OK except a small tear in the drivers seat.
Also noticed a red Protege LX 1st gen with auto tranny 150k. I grabbed the nice looking drivers electric window switch from it. Interior looked decent, damage to RR door.
They were nice enough to torch cut a trailer hitch off an Escort for me. Total for everything was about $25.
Does anyone know if I can upgrade my MX3 rear drums with EGT or Pro LX brakes or do I need a GS to do that?
