If anyone didnt see this in my other threads im posting it here also.
I cut out my radiator core support and will be making it out of chromoly tubing. Im installing a 240sx s14 sr20 aluminum radiator in the spot where the old support went. Were also making a crash bar just in case something gets in my way. Right now its in hacking mode and will be getting welded on this weekend, dont worry everything will be reinforced.

People who race cars of any kind think motorcycle racers are absolutely off theirs meds. But there's one group that everyone agrees is made up of the most extreme, the most daring, and absolutely craziest people in racing - rally racers."

I have a 90 5 speed that needed a new rear quarter on it. All of the body work except the leaking back window (thanks bodyshop...) is complete. All I need to do now is get the bpt swapped in thats sitting in my garage. Oh also, the car needs a decent sway in the rear and some wheels/tires that don't remind me of an old 70's boat err, i mean car chase scene.

Hopefully I get it sorted out before winter.

Oh and you can tack another Wisconsin owner on the list. Seems to be quite a few from cheeseland.

Sweet! The thing is, with all the crazy snow and ice in the winter time, you'd think there would be more of them around, and more of the tempo AWD ones also, but you never see them, at least I haven't.

There's a RallyCross in Chilton (east side of Lake Winnebago) on the 21st, we should all go and represent BP power!

with the 90-93 mazda lsd, is that a torsen, or a viscous?

I believe it was a viscous. I think the 94+ had the torsen, but doesn't fit.
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

So the torsion diff wont fit in our housings? And does it have to be from a 1.8 miata also? I still have a open rear diff in my car still and I havent done much research on what diff to use and from what year miata.

off topic for this thread, but only rear diffs meant for the 1.6 miata will fit the 4wd. the 1.8 diffs use a physically larger ring gear that wont even fit inside the protege diff housing.

what that means is... you can get an OE vlsd, or an aftermarket clutch type. i dont think anyone makes a torsen for the 1.6 but i could be wrong.

no torsen's that I've found, only clutch or viscous.

Kick arse!! Yeah, go ahead and get photos of them, it's always great to see pictures of the cars that we WISH were offered over here.

off-topic, but regarding NZ, I just started watching this TV series called Flight of the Conchords, about a few NZ guys moving to New York, and their hilarious situations they get in, and songs that they sing about. Do they play that in NZ, or is this just an Americanized show just to be cool because it's mostly in an NZ accent?
