            tonight consisted of seperating the internal-wastegate flap from the arm to have it nicely welded up.

            and also, slotting the manifold so i can still fit a bolt in after the external wastegate is welded on.
            I ground off the "BP26" cast number & started drilling holes as a starter point on each side of the internal divider.

            here are my results:

            tommorow im ordering a 1.5" stainless mandrel bend 180° bend & having a 35mm SS circle made to fill my flange hole as the last pieces needed. The remaining parts should arrive this week. I hope to have this little project finished this friday!!!! we'll see how she goes

              good to see this coming along so fast (mainly to get my goodies back)joking, but your doing all the fabbing beside the welding? this will be a hot looking setup when your done

                im doing all of the prep work i can. I want to make it an easy happy job for the guy welding things. besides working with the 1.5" pipe & cutting that into size & the manifold cutting the rest is easy.

                  So when the external is done it will eventually dump to the old dump pipe on the d/p? or will you open dump That's cool.... I'm still a part of the weaksauce internal wastegate & mbc kiddie club...

                          I just bought a
                          1.5" SS 180° 2.25" radius bend Got it for $30.72 shipped. it'll be here thursday @ the latest.

                          i just need a 34.5mm SS circle made & the wastegate flanges mildly machined & i'l have all the parts ready to go.

                          heres the SS flange & the mild steel buttweld fitting (both came in today)
                          & a general idea of how it'll be.
