So I always wondered when people do this for different makes... is it hard to weld cast-iron? do you just weld it to the steel no prob?

Just wondering... and for the record, hells naw I don't know how to weld

          shweet :D

and to weld cast you need to pre-heat it to a specific temperature

Looks really nice. Even better once its coated =) As Jon stated welding cast isn't like welding metal to metal. It does need to be heated prior to welding it and needs to be extreamly clean. Now you just need to get a bigger turbo =P

No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.
