well i'm guessing i don't need them since i'm not using the bpt ecu and the ecu i have doesn't mention any such connections needed. So i'm good to go. Thanks for the reply dave

you will need to connect the coolant temp sensor ( green ). if not you are going to have nightmares in cold starts.

the #3 is the coolant temp sensor to turn on the rad fans, and the #2 temp sensor is the one for the ECU.

number 3 (yellow ) is the radiator fan switch/sender, its not for the ECU, thats the green one that you cirledbefore

the other sender at the front of the head (not pictured), its black, with brown strip wire ,its the dash sender, not used by the ECU, but help full so you no whats going on

Fan sender is required for the fans to work, or you can just earth the cable

i'll wire them up in the morning. The ecu i have only takes one temp sensor so as you said i'll have to ground the fan temp sensor so the fans works. Thanks guys

i had huge issues with my bp swap in my 323. i had a 323 cluster, escort ecu, and escort motor. so all my sensors where wack. it took me 2 months to find all the correct ones. some parts are not found at the parts stores. so i had to search my local JY's for some time.

by studying the GTR fsm, I'm guessing its the Wastegate Solenoid Valve. Even the picture on the page looks like the pic you have.
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.
