    interplay front lip

Alright guys, I got 2 junkyard gems, that honestly i was gonna keep to myself, but i like this forum. lol. Here it is, after having my car for so long, i been to many junkyards, and done alot of testing. Thru the years i found 2 front lips that fit beautifully on the interplay bumpers and here they are.
    1995 MERCURY MYSTIQUE

This is the lip from the 1995 mercury mystique, you have to mount the corner ends of the lip to the corner ends of the bumper and rest lines-up.

    2001 KIA SPECTRA GSX

This is the lip from the 2001 kia spectra GSX
same procedure, mount corners to corners and the rest line-up.
the interplay bumper is beautiful already, but these lips add a lil more sexiness...lol, hope to see more of these lips on the forum now.

try it man, if it dont work, sale it to one of these guys with an interplay bumper. The spectra has a nice rear lip too, with the exhaust hole on the same side as the bg.

I ended up having to go with a longer one. I think it was once size longer then stock..
I actually used the same belt but I had to take the WP pulley off then put the pulley back on with the belt on it.

ahhh.. gotcha. i did not do that. lol. also found that the washer from the old pully setup wouldnt work in a manner i would call safe (bolt would have only been on a couple threads) i opted for the loctite. been holding good. and i run the car pretty hard.

I don't have the pics to prove it yet, but the 89 MX-6 rear spoiler is the same as pre-LED Protege GT.

its not the same. its just close. look at Pile_of_Rd1's protege build log. we put one of the mx6 wings on his car. then compared them when someone else mistakenly thought it was the exact same as the protege stock one. once you look at them side by side, u can tell the difference. but in all truth, the mx6 wing fits the lines of the protege better anyways. lol

I figure I'd stick this info in this thread:

While I'm sure you could try many different ones from other makes/models, I find the rear cargo tray from a 2003-2008 Toyota Matrix fits decently in the trunk.

Same goes for a cargo net - this one just happens to come from a newer Toyota Camry. You can see where I hook it and it works well (other side wasn't hooked).

                  13x5 4x100 wheels from a 1988-1992 Toyota Corolla/SR5 make a nice wheel upgrade from steelies/hubcaps.

Not pictured, but the front carpets from a 1992-1996 Toyota Camry will fit the front floor of our cars nicely.

Guys, I've been looking at older Volvos with the neat front lip:

I am going to try fitting this on an egt front bumper.
