    u have 2 wastegates/?
    swapping into another shell!

    Comment

no man, look at it again. its mounted on the turbo mani, and dumps to the downpipe. so basically is not venting to the open atmosphere, or being recirc'd, its just being sent into the exhaust.
loves BGs too much for his own good...

93 pro lx. daily runaround until a straight shell can be had.
73 datsun 260z, yet another project in need of more love.

Is your oil level going to be accurate with that new dipstick tube? It looks a lot shorter than the other one.

                    technically no.
But thats unrelated to the dipstick---- The kia windage tray in the bottom end spaced the oil pan lower by about 4mm

the dipstick accuracy is relative to the tube used & since its a matching pair it would otherwise be accurate.

Ultrasonicly cleaned all of the lifters & the cam caps.....
Installed a Kia intake cam & new cam seals on both I/E

Installed a 255lph walbro & found i had a 190lph walbro inside of my tank (brand new replacement with under 1500 miles on it) [previous owner bought a fuel pump from "oriely's" so he told me.... certainly didn't expect a walbro

Set the timing & cleaned up - i'll pickup work again on the 14th!!

Oh weird. I'd do that and a set of ARPs, mostly for piece of mind.

the gasket is on order already. The ARP's are in the drawer next to me........... im slightly anxious to pull the head off just to clean it up
God knows how many true miles are on it.

the stock composite head gaskets are not an issue really. the f2t ones are the exact same, and have handled over 300hp many times. but if your upgrading everything, its not a bad idea to upgrade to a MPS one also. but like i said, the stocker would hold just fine.

I just like the extra assurance that if I do something stupid it is less likely to come apart on me.
