Very nice!!! Although that alt is mighty close to the frame rail, would a shorter belt help move the alt away from the frame?

Looks like a good 1/8" away. That's good enough in my book

Now with OE rubber motor mounts that might not be a good thing but he should be fine.

Nice progress BTW, your build is one of my all time favorites

SO, when will it be done? I'm debating whether I should go down this weekend or not. I start school monday so it would have to be before then. Thing is, I don't want to go down if it's not running. I don't have much money for gas, but I'd spend a little to come down and see it run. Also, do you still need a rear garnish for it? I am parting out certain stuff on my rust free 323, as I'm starting to build it into a race car this summer. So stuff that will be removed to be raced will be either thrown out or sold. And I tell you this. LOTS of stuff is coming off of it. My goal is to get it at least 100 lbs lighter than my protege.

Won't that create too much turbulence as the air expands coming out of the compressor? I would think that would be a critical area to have as smooth as possible.

Are those bars by the A pillar solid, or are you going to move them close to the A pillar for improved visibility? Looks good so far. I want to cage my car some day.

I am wondering the same thing. It will be really bad when he add padding around the bars.

this is a daily driven full interior 323. Visibility is only minorly inconvenienced.
