        I'm trying not to duplicate any abbreviations previously given.

        BHP = Brake (Crank) Horsepower
        BHP, SAE (net) = BHP measured with all accessories connected and intake system and exhaust system configured as installed in vehicle
        BMEP = Brake Mean Effective Pressure
        FHP = Friction Horsepower. Has two components: mechanical friction between moving parts and fluid motion in the intake and exhaust systems. This second type of friction is known as pumping losses.
        FMEP = Friction Mean Effective Pressure
        IHP = Indicated Horsepower
        IMEP = Indicated Mean Effective Pressure
        PMEP = Pumping Mean Effective Pressure
        TE = Thermal Efficiency
        VE = Volumetric Efficiency
        VTCS = Variable Tumble Control System
