    Fixing up my header?

I have a pacesetter header that I partially wrapped in header wrap but before i could finish it and install it on the car it got rained on badly a few months ago then just sat and dried, i'm kind of worried that it might be all badly rusted and such under the wrap now. Should i unwrap it and check or just finish doing the lower part of the wrap and install it. if i unwrap it should i have sent somewhere to have it cleaned really well and coated or should i just sandblast it myself and paint it. any other advice is welcome

I'd take it apart and look, but I doubt you need to send it out to have it professionally done. If you can sandblast at home go ahead and then just coat it with some high heat BBQ paint or wtv.

what he said! since its a pace****ter header, i would grab an extra exhaust gasket and check to see if the ports lined up. mine didnt AT ALL i had to take about 1/4" of material off for it to line up.
