    Megasquirt Blowing Engine Fuse

    Well im just got a new battery to try and solve the neverending megasquirt issues and now when i but the postive terminal on the battery it immediatly pops the fuse? any suggestions thankx

          aaah yeah .that can be a very good reason why! lol or try to unplug the msg2 power supply. and see if its still popping the fuse.

            well it was just a piched wire when i fed it under the carpet so now its not blowing the fuse but now i need to find a sport where i can get power to the megasquirt.

              You should be getting power from the stock fuse box.

                    where should i get power from the fusebox?


                    also the only wires that i dont have connected to the fuse box are the fuel injection harness but im going straight to the injectors with the ms and using an fuel pump relay for the pump

                      The MS could get power from the white/red wire on the 3 pin plug at the fusebox. That is one of the alternatives. It is a switched source.

                        well now im gunna go buy a 80a fuse since i blew the one and im not a fan of jumping it sooo im gunna go grab a new one and see if that solves my ignition power issues.

                          well the fuse solved everything and i got everything working now just to add coolant and set base timing and i hope she turns over.

                              well its weird immeditaly when i put the + battery terminal on the main fuse blows then after the fuse blows i get power to the megasquirt, these 80a fuses arent cheap ahhhh.
